Four-point contact ball bearings

Four-point contact ball bearings are a type of single-row angular contact ball bearing, since they support high axial loads in both directions. Four-point contact ball bearings are usually assembled with cylindrical roller bearings in a loose radial location. Axial minimum loads are required for low friction, especially for high speeds.
The inner ring of a four-point contact ball bearing is split, which means it can accommodate a large number of balls.
