Functional reliability with "invisible helpers" from INA
Somewhere on the finished circuit board is our silicon single crystal, one in each case. In order that this has the right contact to each of its neighbours, it must pass through the soldering furnace as a final step.
Modern reflow soldering plant allows economical mass production. The demanding soldering process requires continuous and functionally reliable circulation of the circuit board transport chain. Around the clock, "invisible helpers" from INA are in use here, namely stud type track rollers based on needle rollers. They guarantee uniform transport speed across a wide temperature range.
The heat is only one aspect, however. Things are also very challenging in the vacuum zone of the soldering furnace, since the bearing arrangements used here cannot be lubricated. Components with very good dry running characteristics are therefore needed. For example, ungreased, silver plated INA drawn cup needle roller bearings for the slider guidance of a corrosion-resistant valve.
