Cartons for fruit juices and milk have gained an important position on the market due to their many advantages for consumers and drinks manufacturers.

The rolling bearings used in the filling machines for carton packaging must be resistant to media such as hydrogen peroxide vapor, water and cleaning agents. The deep groove ball bearings and yoke and stud type track rollers used in these machines are therefore made of corrosion resistant rolling bearing steel.

For even more resistance to corrosion, longer operating life and higher wear resistance, the Schaeffler Group offers bearing solutions of high-performance corrosion resistant steel Cronitect and Cronidur in conjunction with ceramic balls.
